A typical 3-bedroom house takes 5–7 working days. We work efficiently room by room to minimise disruption.

Do I need to move out during a rewire?

Not usually — we isolate rooms individually so you can continue living in the property, although it will be dusty and power will be off periodically during working hours.

Will you need to lift floorboards?

In most cases yes, especially for downstairs lighting and upstairs power. However, we always reinstate them neatly and use existing routes where possible to minimize structural disruption.

Is a rewire covered by building regulations?

Absolutely. All rewiring is classed as notifiable work under the UK Building Regulations. We automatically register it through our NICEIC Part P scheme, saving you the hassle of contacting the council.

Can I add extra sockets or smart home features during a rewire?
